Day Two: Abnormal Days

Herbert wasn't in the best mood to be jumped, especially by the person that caused it. Screaming, he aimed his other hand for her eyes, intent on making her let go so he could keep his knife. He tried to rip his hand out of his grasp, falling down. God, this was so fucked up. Everything was so fucked up.
Somewhere, he thought someone was laughing at them.

"Adda STOP!" she screamed, hopping her friend would listen to her. Why would you charge at someone who was holding a knife?!
She looked at Herbert, very carefully choosing her words. "I...don't worry, Herbert. We won't accuse anyone without proper evidence. " she gulped, making sure to look at him in the eye and not the knife in his hand. "We promise. Right, everyone?" She looked around the room, glaring daggers at them all, mentally screaming at them to nod and say 'yes'. It was an easy thing to promise, regardless.

Adda collapsed on top of Herbert as he hit the floor. She curled up a bit, grasping the handle of the knife as best she could, given that Herbert had it in his grasp. The punch connected, and Adda let out a shriek in pain. She wasn't tough to begin with, and going against a game hunter wasn't her best move. But she wasn't thinking. Her grip loosened to the point that her presence wasn't even relevant. She began to cry in a mix of pain and memories.

Oscar yelped. The trust level in this whole school had dropped by a thousand points, despite his eloquent speech. All too fast a knife was drawn and Adda....began running towards it?
"Crap! Wh-What are you-" He ran after her, "No!" He made a motion to pull her out of the way, scrambling towards her.

"I..I..." Alex shook his head. "Sorry, I don't need that water." he said, standing back up and placing the medicine back into the box with shaky hands.
There was so much noise right now, before the meds would kick in. he didn't know who was really talking and who wasn't. "I can't do that, no. It's a bad idea. I already fought yesterday. Please don't tell me to do that."

"Stop babying him!" Laura said forcefully. It ticked her off how nice David and Asher were being to Alex. He didn't deserve that kind of attention. Only she did. She was crippled, after all. Huffing a bit, she made her way over to him, as fast as her crutches could carry her. She looked down and lightly nudged him with her foot. She wasn't about to cut Alex any slack. They were both on the same page about what happened last night. "What was in those bottles?"

When oscar started to run in, Herbert tried to stand. Thankfully, someone tried to help him pry the girl off.
"GetOffMyStuff!" he screamed, baring his teeth as he added his foot into the mix. He was going to keep that knife, and she wasn't going to take it and stab him. They weren't going to win.

Adda's glasses lay on the floor, the frame that Herbert hit left with nothing in it. She rolled onto her knees, head on the floor, trembling, a bit of blood running through her fingers.

Break her fingers and her limbs
Break break break
Alex screamed when she touched him, his eyes wild.
Do it.
Weren't you trained to do this?
Isn't this your life?
He screeched and backed away, clawing at his hair. "I didn't do it for that!" he yelled, shutting his eyes.
When will they calm? When oh when would they shut up? This whole situation was making them even chattier, even more violent. "S-stop! Calm down!"

She ran over to Adda and put a hand on her shoulder. "Adda, calm down, please." she said with a sigh, feeling tears prick at the corner of her eyes. She forced herself to hold them back. She wanted to promise her friend everything would be fine...but she wasn't a fan of that brand of lying. She looked at her hand. "You're bleeding, come on, didn't you have a medical kit in your bag? I'll help you patch it up." She tried to smile.

Everything was insane, and nothing was getting done. "Look, Laura... maybe we all need some space. Things are tense and, well..." he didn't know what to say. "Maybe we should back down a bit and let everything cool off- everyone, not just you."

"Oh...Oh god!" Oscar saw the blood and flipped.
"Adda Adda...You okay? Say something!" He grabbed his glasses and put them in front of her as a little offering, despite their bad condition. Her trembling is what scared him the most. "Oh god...It's okay just..." He put a hand on her shoulder, just to try to stop her shaking.
He now turned to Herbert, "Wh-What the hell!? Y-You want us to to trust yo-!?" He was shaking now too. Mostly because he just yelled at Herbert. Oscar was now terrified.

Finally she was off him. Herber moved to the center of the room, looking around wildly. He didn't want to be in a corner again. He hated corners. It meant he was prey. he didn't want to be that at all.
But then he harmed someone.
He felt the need to at least stay, but what if they attacked him. He kept his knife, looking fearful and he deliberated between running and staying.

Hands shaking, Adda nodded and took off her back pack, unzipping it slowly. Afraid of moving her hand away, she used the other to lift out the kit and place it down before a new pain seared through her eye.

Laura only frowned at Alex, unphased by his breakdown. Then she turned to Asher. She wanted to snap at him, but she knew he was right. If she continued behaving like this it would only draw suspicion to herself. She nodded at him, and gave a faint smile. Besides, she still needed to make up for what happened last night. "Alright, Al. All we want to do is help," she said, lying through her teeth. Being diplomatic was a pain in the ass. "Do you need anything? What's wrong?" she pressed. "You don't have to answer right away, take some time to get yourself together."

In his pockets, Eloise found a box cutter. It was certainly something, but it wasn't much.

More screaming from outside the bathroom. Thuds. It sounded bad. Eloise leaped up to her feet and into the scene of the Herbert-Adda incident.

"poo poo, what happened?" One of them was obviously injured, "Holy poo poo- A-Are you okay? What happened?" She repeated the same questions, faster and faster as she walked over. What the hell did Herbert do to the poor girl? She looked at him, now going into a defensive stance.

David was frozen. He had no idea what to do. These two seemed like they had Alex under control, and he wasn't the best at helping out people, and he felt bad for Alex and...he sighed.
"I'll...I'll go back and guard the crime scene, you guys seem like you have this under control. M'sorry." he said quietly, tipping his hat and heading back down the hallway near Jaden's room's door. He felt so useless - mostly because he was. He really, really hoped nothing else insane was going on. He could only handle one situation at a time.

"LAURA STOP IT!" He was so confused, the cacophony of voices was still in full speed, and would probably still be for a few minutes or even more than an hour. Did she even say that? Who was talking? What was going on. His head was moving at the speed of light, but he still couldn't understand. He backed away, clutching his head, looking extremely distressed and about to snap.

"It's okay...just..." Oscar tried to help her with the kit, keeping a close eye on Herbert. "You'll be alright, look!" He held up his hand, "You did a good job with my hand! It's all better, see!?" He wiggled his fingers, "You'll be okay, okay...?"

"I'm sorry, guys, but do you mind if I investigate? Haven't gotten to see much of anything yet, and I really want to know a bit of the situation before we have to go to court." He was supposed to be guarding, but still... he needed to know at least a bit if he wanted to defend himself and his friends and Laura.

He would stay. It was only the best thing he could do. He paced around, sheathing the knife into a side holster and keeping a hand on it. He looked legitimately sorry, yet he had no idea if he should say something.
He should leave, or he should stay?
He knew something about first aid, and if she got something in her eye... "Is there... gloss in her eye?" He muttered, not really trying to be heard.

Laura rested her underarms on her crutches and put her hands up as if to show Alex she wasn't a threat. "Fine then, have it your way! I was just going to help!" she said. "Asher, do what you want. We can't deal with people like that." she muttered, already heading back towards Jaden's room. "Better to give him some space, we're not gonna get anything out of him like that."

When she approached the door to the dorm room, she nodded at David briefly before swinging herself in. She was met with the horrible scene of Adda sprawled on the ground. One of the few students that she still liked. "What happened to her?!" she asked quietlycalmy, not wanting to cause any further commotion.

Adda slowly moved her hand away, and in simple terms, her right eye didn't look good. At all. And the mystery of the missing glass was solved, though there wasn't much.

She looked at the medical kit and froze. There was so much stuff in it and she couldn't name half of it. How was she supposed to help someone with an injury that probably, no, definitely, required a 911 call?
She looked at Herbert, just hearing him. "I think so. D-do you know how to fix it?" He might be the least ideal person to ask for help from right now, but it seemed he was their only choice.

Asher stepped into the bathroom and pulled back the shower curtain to see if it was wet, or if anything inside was disheveled.
"Sorry bout this Jaden... guess we're all a bunch of irresponsible little kids, huh?" Most people had forgotten the investigation, and though there was some good reason, he still felt a bit bad.
